Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy programs and exercises in collaboration with physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including feeding, toileting, and dressing. Provide vital support in the execution of care programs and activities for day care clients. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the care centre. Promote the well-being and safety of rehabilitation and day care clients. Build meaningful relationships with clients and caregivers through active engagement.

Requirements

• Certificate in Rehabilitation Therapy from a recognized institution, along with a good N or O level score with a minimum of 3 credits. A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or eldercare setting, preferably within a community context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A genuine passion for engaging with and caring for seniors.
