Therapy Assistant

As a therapy assistant, you will be required to assist occupational therapists and physiotherapists to provide rehabilitation to patients.

About The Role

• Assist the Therapists in all activities of their treatment plans.
• Set up and operate the therapy areas, and ensuring that the equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
• Assist in moving the patients and support them during their treatment sessions.
• On-the-job supervision will be provided.

What We Are Looking For

• Min GCE N levels with WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support), WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services, or NITEC in Community Care & Social Services preferred.
• For foreign trained applicants, Diploma/Degree qualification in a relevant discipline and at least 2 years experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Service oriented and customer focused.
