About Us
Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre (MDRC) provides rehabilitation services for seniors recovering from stroke, Parkinson's disease, or physical injury. Our goal is to help clients regain independence and improve their quality of life in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in physiotherapy and occupational therapy programmes
- Support music therapy sessions under guidance of a certified therapist
- Attend to clients needs and ensure a safe, supportive environment
- Assist in transferring and escorting clients when required
- Monitor clients and report any abnormalities
- Record daily therapy sessions and maintain equipment
Other Duties
- Support fundraising activities when required
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Minimum Secondary education / WSQ or NITEC in Therapy Services
- BCLS certification
- Comfortable working with elderly (including stroke patients)
- Background or interest in music is an advantage
Competencies
- Team player with good communication skills
- Responsible, meticulous, and service-oriented
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Occasionally required to work on weekends for CSR events or centre activities (off in lieu or overtime pay provided)
