Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Textile and Footwear Inspector based in Singapore. The Inspector will perform quality control inspections for textile and footwear products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. Daily responsibilities include examining materials for defects, testing finished goods for durability and safety, providing detailed reports on inspection findings, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues. The role involves maintaining meticulous records and ensuring accountability across the production and inspection processes.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of textile and footwear quality standards, material inspection, and defect identification
- Skills in quality control, compliance checks, and industry-specific testing methods
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for identifying and addressing issues during inspections
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively
- An understanding of health and safety regulations and ethical inspection practices
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Footwear Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in textile or footwear inspection, auditing, or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory
