RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute printer life cycle and endurance tests based on test plans and work instructions
• Set up printers, consumables (ink/toner, paper), and test fixtures before test start
• Operate printers continuously to simulate real-world usage conditions
• Monitor printer performance, print quality, error codes, jams, noises, and abnormal behavior
• Record test data, page counts, failure modes, and downtime accurately in logs or systems
• Replace consumables and perform basic maintenance (paper reload, ink/toner replacement)
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and recovery (clear paper jams, reset printer, restart tests)
• Escalate unresolved failures to Test Engineers with proper documentation
• Support teardown or failure analysis activities when required
• Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and lab procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of test area and equipment
• Support shift handover with clear status updates

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant studies
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical testing or a similar role (internships experience will be considered)
• Experience with printers or electromechanical products is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of printer components (paper path, ink/toner system, rollers) is a plus
• Ability to follow detailed test instructions accurately
• Basic computer skills for data logging and report updates
