Test Manager – Global Markets / Treasury & Capital Markets | Singapore

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager – Global Markets / Treasury & Capital Markets to join a major banking technology programme in Singapore.

The role will lead end-to-end testing across complex Treasury, Trading and Post-Trade platforms, with a strong focus on front-to-back Global Markets workflows. Candidates with hands-on functional exposure to Murex, Calypso, or similar Capital Markets platforms will be highly relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall test strategy, planning, execution governance and quality assurance for Global Markets technology programmes.

• Lead SIT, UAT, regression, integration and end-to-end testing across multiple applications and releases.

• Manage testing across Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office systems.

• Validate the complete trade lifecycle covering trade capture, booking, pricing, valuation, risk, P&L, confirmations, clearing, settlement, payments, accounting and reporting.

• Lead testing across Murex, Calypso and associated upstream/downstream platforms.

• Coordinate complex integration testing between trading platforms and Risk, Operations, Finance, Payments, Settlement and Reporting systems.

• Define test plans, scenarios, test data requirements, entry/exit criteria and release-readiness metrics.

• Own defect management, including triage, prioritisation, root-cause coordination and closure.

• Manage test environments, dependencies and execution across multiple technology teams and vendors.

• Provide clear test status, quality metrics, risks and go/no-go recommendations to programme leadership.

• Work closely with Traders, Product Control, Market Risk, Operations, Technology, Business Analysts and Product Owners.

• Drive improvements in regression coverage, test automation and overall quality engineering practices.

Required Experience

• Strong experience as a Test Manager / Senior Test Manager within banking technology.

• Strong domain experience in Global Markets, Treasury and/or Capital Markets.

• Good understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle.

• Experience with Murex and/or Calypso is highly preferred.

• Experience managing large-scale SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing.

• Strong understanding of integration testing across trading and post-trade systems.

• Experience managing defects, test environments, test data and release readiness.

• Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, operations and vendors.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM/Quality Center or equivalent.

Product knowledge across one or more of the following would be advantageous:

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience leading testing for Murex/Calypso implementations, upgrades, migrations, regulatory programmers or large-scale Global Markets transformation initiatives will be particularly relevant.
