Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Associate Engineers and Technicians in executing production test activities for Server & Rack products.
• Configure, support and maintain PXE Server environments for production testing.
• Perform and maintain Server & Rack run-in, burn-in and power testing processes.
• Coordinate with customers, headquarters and internal engineering teams to implement, maintain and enhance test programs.
• Analyse product failures, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure smooth product launches.
• Prepare, review and maintain work instructions, testing procedures and engineering documentation.
• Conduct training for production personnel on testing procedures and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Support ISO quality management system implementation and compliance activities.
• Provide engineering support during mass production to resolve testing-related issues.

Requirements

• Singaporean only
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer in an electronics, electrical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing test processes, debugging and failure analysis.
• Proficient in SAP and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of programming and debugging techniques will be an advantage.
• Experience in Server, Rack, EMS or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively with customers, regional engineering teams and cross-functional departments.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.
