Position: Test Engineer (12 months renewable contract)
Location: Bendemeer
Working Hour: Regular Office Hours
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing on SSD through execution of tests (both automated and manual)
- Perform initial failure analysis and work with Validation engineers to resolve test failures
- Modification of functional test scripts to achieve targeted test coverage
- Perform debug and evaluation towards resolution of issues with Firmware engineers.
- Participate in setting up of test environment and servers in preparation for validation.
- Tabulate test results and generate report for continuous firmware health monitoring.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Basic working knowledge with Windows and/or Linux.
- Experience in the setup and/or debug of laptop/desktop/serversystems would be an advantage.
- Knowledge in Linux/ Python scripting and/or experience with basic signal/power measurement equipment is preferred.
- Experience in using PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and Analog/Mixed Signal oscilloscopes would be beneficial.
- Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment.
