Test Engineer
The Test Engineer will be running tests on embedded software, firmware and web pages. Experienced at thinking out of the box and coming up with creative solutions to modern day problems, this role plays a key role to ensure our products do not fail.
The Role
- We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of IoT products, software, and firmware.
- The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, automating test processes, and working closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
- The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in validating hardware, embedded firmware, and cloud-based IoT applications, ensuring that our products meet high industry standards and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in testing IoT devices, software, or firmware.
- IoT Testing: - Hands-on experience in IoT device validation, cloud testing, MQTT, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Sun, NB-IoT, etc..
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) is a plus , experience in CI/CD is plus.
- Specific test cases must be created and carried out for test plans, and results should then be tracked and converted into metrics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment and handle multiple projects.
