Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Tender & Estimation Engineer to support cost estimation, budgeting, and proposal preparation for process industry projects. This role is suitable for fresh graduates with a Quantity Surveying/Engineering background who are keen to develop their skills in project costing and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing cost estimates, including material take-offs, labor costs, and other project expenses

- Support project budgeting and cost tracking under guidance from senior team members

- Work with sales and engineering teams to support proposal preparation and tender submissions

- Assist in basic cost analysis and value engineering exercises

- Prepare documentation for client submissions and internal approvals

- Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant industry standards

Requirements:

- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

- 0–5 years of experience; fresh engineering graduates are welcome to apply

Skills:

- Proficiency in cost estimation software

- Basic understanding / willingness to learn process industry construction methods and materials

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication, interpersonal, and sales skills

- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, etc.)

- Certifications: QS related certification preferred

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

- Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools

- Knowledge of process industry-specific software

- CRM software experience
