about the job
- Understand tender requirements
- Lead and manage a team of QS
- Provide strategic cost
- Exercise collaborative plan and define extend of works
- Timely management of tender activities
- Review quotations with the designated specification
- Review quantities and cross check for possible items that may have been overlooked
- Proof reading for tender responses to highlight areas for incorporation of quantity and ensure issuance to stakeholders to quote for works
- Review of cost impact (value engineering proposal/ variations)
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs
skills & experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of tendering and costing management in M&E Projects
- Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel
- Experience with cleanroom/ semiconductor/ pharmaceutical projects will be a plus
