What The Role Entails
Tencent Cloud is seeking a strategic and commercially driven professional to join our Global Procurement team. This role focuses on managing end-to-end procurement operations for cloud services and technology-related solutions across Tencent Cloud's international business. The successful candidate will drive cost optimization, supplier performance management, and procurement strategy execution while ensuring compliance, quality, and delivery excellence. Working closely with product, technology, and operations teams, this role plays a critical part in strengthening supplier ecosystems, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling sustainable global business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Tencent Cloud services, including requirements alignment, supplier screening, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
- Formulate and optimize service procurement strategies to ensure cost, quality, and delivery timelines align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and operations teams to translate service requirements into actionable procurement plans.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular performance evaluations, and drive partnership optimization and risk control.
- Monitor procurement execution, coordinate resolution of delivery exceptions, and ensure on-time, high-quality service delivery.
- Analyze procurement data and generate reports on cost savings, efficiency improvements, and key operational metrics to support management decision-making.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of procurement processes and systems, promoting standardized and compliant procurement management frameworks.
Who We Look For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field with minimum 3 years of IT or Internet service procurement experience, preferably with major cloud service providers.
- Familiar with procurement regulations, compliance standards, and corporate governance requirements, with solid understanding of cloud service procurement models including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, consulting, managed services, and outsourcing
- Strong negotiation capability with experience handling complex supplier selection and contract discussions independently
- Excellent working proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin to manage both internal and external stakeholders and documentations
- Strong stakeholder management skills, high ownership mindset, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with strong data analysis skills to support decision-making
