Job Description

The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Temporary Management Support Officer (6-month contract) to support operations at the Clinical and Healthy Psychology Centre (CHPC).

The new staff will support CHPC's operations in the following areas (including but not limited to):

  • Attending to email, phone, and WhatsApp queries related to Professional Services
  • Managing online and referral registrations for CHPC clients
  • Scheduling Professional Services appointments between clients and faculty staff
  • Following up promptly on Professional Service payments from clients
  • Following up with faculty for Professional Service session notes
  • Receiving clients for Professional Service appointments at CHPC and locking up the clinic at day's end
  • Supporting intern observation scheduling for Professional Service clients, where applicable
  • Assisting faculty with availability checks, room bookings, and pre session preparation
  • Preparing for the system migration for appointment scheduling, including verifying that OneDrive client folders are updated with required documents, notes, and case file numbers

Qualifications

  • Degree holder good with computer skills and ability to design EDMs
  • Prior working experience in data entry preferred
  • Competent in computer skills especially in Excel, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and WordPress for website maintenance
  • Meticulous
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service skills

Working Hours and Rate

  • Expected working hours: 16 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: $15
  • Tentative contract period: 22 April 2026 to 21 October 2026
