We are looking to hire a part-time caretaker for our Lord Buddha Temple located at 24 Arumugam Road. This person will play an integral part in showing hospitality to all who enter the premise and helps assure safety and security. Other than being a familiar and friendly face to our visitors, the successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and keeping the temple looking great at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the temple.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the Management and colleagues about the state of the premise, maintenance requirements, health and safety concerns, upcoming events arrangements, etc.
- Works with the Customer Service and Operations teams to address any area that requires attention.
- Cover for cleaners in their absence.
- Perform duties related to the operations of the temple as and when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Experience of working in similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Good planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions and take initiative to manage the unexpected.
- Ability to work autonomously.
