Job Description
Location: New Bridge Road - Central Division
Job Title: Temp Staff - Scam Victim Management
Contract Period: Estimated 1 October 2026 - 12 months
Working Hours:
0900hrs to 1800hrs, Mondays to Fridays, excluding Public Holidays (40-hour work week)
Salary Range: Up to $27 per hour
Job Description:
a) Serve as victim's primary point of contact, address all queries and concerns of the victim from report lodge to case conclusion through phone engagement and structured service replies
b) Call victim to establish 1st contact point within 3 hours of the report being lodged, gather and submit critical scam-enabler information via ASC/ASCom Decision Authority (DA) Office for swift disruption
c) Provide preventive advice to minimise risk of future victimisation
d) Assess if there is a need to refer victim for counselling, social support or to issue a Restriction Order
e) Provide timely updates on case progress, asset recovery and case outcomes to victim
f) Put up service replies i.e., first interim service reply, progress service reply, case conclusion service reply, within stipulated timelines required by SPF
g) Provide administrative support such as putting up production order to request for CCTV footage retrieval for cases involving ATM cash mules, document mules, and victim-turned mule investigations and
h) Any other administrative tasks directed by Head of Branch.
Candidate Requirements:
a) Must not be a subject of an ongoing criminal investigation at the time of application for the job
b) Was not terminated from service from the Singapore Police Force or any civil service
c) Observe confidentiality at all times for all documents and information
d) Candidates should generally have at least O Level qualifications, and will be assessed based on a mixture of experience, aptitude and qualifications
e) Relevant working experience in law enforcement, regulatory, enforcement, investigation, customer service, case management or related fields will be an advantage
f) Possess good people skills and communication skills (both spoken and written)
g) Possess basic computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office applications and be comfortable with learning and using a computerized investigation management system
h) Be flexible and adaptable to any process changes and
i) Able to identify and escalate issues that may be potentially sensitive / high profile in accordance with prescribed guidelines / SOP / Circulars.
