Job Description
- Capture high-quality retinal fundus and other ophthalmic images to support thedetection, diagnosis, and management of major eye conditions.
- Conduct first-level ocular grading assessments according to standardised protocols and reporting guidelines as a non-clinician reader.
- Perform imaging tests for patients as assigned by the clinic, such as those required for retina observation or screening services.
- Ensure assessments and imaging tasks are completed accurately and within the required timeframe.
- Coordinate with the arbitrating reader or senior reviewer for complex or escalated cases.
- Complete required accreditation, certification tests, and participate in audit reviews where applicable.
Job Requirements
- Min. Diploma in a science-related field such as Biomedical Science, Biomedical Technology, Biological Science, or other relevant disciplines.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinic setting would be advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training in ophthalmic imaging and grading procedures.
- Ability to work at multiple clinic locations when required.
- Able to work a 5.25-day work week, including alternate Saturdays (approximately 40-44 hours per week depending on schedule).
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Able to commit to the full duration of the temporary assignment (approximately eight months)
