Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Grant & Finance Executive to support grant administration and finance operations for a leading Singapore-based research organisation.
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team managing end-to-end processes for research funding and financial compliance. You will work closely with project stakeholders and finance teams to ensure timely disbursement, accurate reporting, and smooth audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Management:
- Create and maintain project and budget records in internal financial systems (e.g., SAP).
- Review fund requisitions and financial statements to ensure adherence to grant conditions.
- Liaise with internal teams and grantees for fund disbursement and reimbursements.
- Track grant audit submissions and ensure compliance with internal frameworks.
- Prepare monthly budget utilisation and reporting documents.
Finance & Accounting:
- Process invoices and receipts perform reconciliation and tracking.
- Manage vendor payments and accounts payable functions.
- Maintain fixed asset records including tagging, verification, and disposal.
- Perform general ledger activities such as journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support ongoing finance improvement projects (e.g., digitalisation initiatives).
- Handle other finance operations tasks such as system access setup and data reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SAP or SAP HANA is a plus.
- High learning agility and adaptability to new tools and processes.
