Job Summary
You will assist teachers and aides in supporting students with autism during outings and classroom activities, help maintain classroom order, support students self-care needs, collect behavioral data, and contribute to behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers and aides in supervising students during community outings and provide relief support in classrooms to ensure smooth operations
- Support teachers and aides in maintaining classroom order by organizing physical spaces and setting up workstations for learning activities
- Help students with self-care tasks such as grooming and toileting to promote their independence and well-being
- Collect direct behavioral data and monitor student progress to support individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers and aides to implement classroom management strategies and behavior intervention plans effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the centre's operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE N Level qualification
- Experience working with children and youths with autism is advantageous
- Ability to commit to working three days per week
