Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and persuasive Telemarketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contact prospective or existing clients to introduce our services, explain promotions, and help schedule appointments. This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to introduce promotions, products, or services.
- Explain programmes clearly and professionally, following approved scripts and guidelines.
- Record call outcomes accurately in the system (interested, follow-up, appointment booked, etc.).
- Follow up on warm leads or referrals generated by the marketing team.
- Maintain updated records of customer information and interactions.
- Achieve weekly or monthly call and conversion targets.
- Handle customer questions courteously and redirect to relevant staff when needed.
- Support marketing campaigns by assisting with follow-up calls after SMS, WhatsApp, or email blasts.
- Provide feedback on customer responses, objections, and trends to improve campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Prior experience in telemarketing, customer service, or call centre roles preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, positive, and resilient personality with persuasive ability.
- Able to handle rejection calmly and professionally.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, CRM entry).
