- Support the design and delivery of telecommunications systems for large-scale data centre projects, working closely with international telecom teams from concept through detailed design.
- Prepare and review telecom design documentation, including schematics, equipment layouts, cable routing plans, and calculations in line with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects and multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure telecom designs are fully integrated and aligned with project requirements and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to verify telecom infrastructure installations, review shop and as-built drawings, and support testing and commissioning activities to ensure system performance andcompliance.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues, monitor project progress, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in telecom design and site delivery, preferably in data centre or critical-facilities environments.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fibre optics, and network connectivity.
- Understanding of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, ISO/IEC).
