TEKLA ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

• Experience with construction structural steel design, drawings, specifications, and details.
• Prepare 3D structural models, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings (Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Assist and support the Project Director / Manager in planning and controlling project-related assignments.
• Assist in project activities such as drawing submissions and quantity take-off.
• Involved in design, coordination, and preparation of specifications and plans.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and consultants for technical drawings and submission approvals.
• Coordinate technical design and drawings submission between client and consultant familiar with BCA submission processes.
• Maintain proper document control and filing.
• Based in office with occasional site visits when necessary.
• Able to undertake any other duties as assigned.
• Liaise with internal teams to implement projects.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure engineering deliverables comply with standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (experience in structural steel is an advantage).
• Experience and certifications in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.
• Proficient in Tekla Structures for shop drawing preparation.
• Good understanding of structural steel works, structural design, and calculations.
• Good knowledge of Eurocode and BCA guidelines.
• Familiar with BCA submission requirements.
• Good analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Independent and a team player.
• Only candidates with relevant Singapore experience will be considered
