Technology teacher / PROFESSEUR DE TECHNOLOGIE

MISSION

The teacher's main mission is to provide students with knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to develop skills in the subject.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching Technology and digital sciences and technology in middle school and high school

Teaching the digital and computer science option

Designing and implement learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards

Convey subject knowledge

Designing and implementing assessment methods of student's learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners

Ensuring students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge

Being an expert in the conduct of a class and foster the interest and participation of students

Providing personalised follow-up of students in relation with families and participate in their orientation project

Contributing to the school's operation and to teamwork

Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and measure their achievements

Using information and communication technologies to support learnings

Exercise of specific functions (coordination, form teacher etc

SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

French Ministry of Education degree holder or equivalent

Deep understanding of the subjects and the curriculum

Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable and namely on the final year is preferable

Knowledge of the French curriculum

Organisational and interpersonal skills

Responsiveness and availability

Adaptability and benevolence

Very good writing and speaking skills

Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful

Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit

Mastery of digital tools and/or experience as a digital referent appreciated

Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students

Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students

Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way

Proficiency in English (B1 level and above) is appreciated for supporting bilingual students and families

La mission principale du/de la professeur/e est de faire acqurir aux lves des connaissances, savoir-faire et savoirs tre afin de dvelopper des comptences dans la discipline.

RESPONSABILITS

Enseigner la technologie au collge et les sciences numriques et technologiques (SNT) au lyce

Enseigner l'option numrique et sciences informatiques

Concevoir et mettre en uvre des situations d'apprentissage ou d'enseignement dans le cadre des programmes et rfrentiels franais

Transmettre des connaissances disciplinaires

Concevoir et mettre en uvre des modalits dvaluation des acquis des lves, en liaison avec les autres enseignants ou les partenaires professionnels

Faire acqurir des comptences incluant des capacits, des attitudes et des savoir-faire

Matriser la conduite d'une classe et susciter l'intrt et la participation des lves et apprentis

Assurer un suivi personnalis des lves en lien avec les familles et participer leur projet d'orientation

Contribuer au fonctionnement de ltablissement et au travail dquipe

Adapter son enseignement la diversit des lves en apportant chacun l'appui ncessaire, et mesurer leurs acquis

Utiliser des technologies de l'information et de la communication au service des apprentissages

Exercice de fonctions spcifiques (coordination, professeur principal, etc)

COMPTENCES, EXPRIENCE ET FORMATION REQUISES

Titulaire de l'Education Nationale ou profil quivalent

Matrise de la matire et option enseignes

Exprience dans l'enseignement au niveau secondaire (collge et lyce) et notamment sur un cycle de Terminale souhaite

Connaissance du systme ducatif franais

Sens de l'organisation et du contact

Ractivit et disponibilit

Capacit d'adaptation et bienveillance

Trs bonne expression crite et orale

Forte capacit travailler en quipe et s'investir dans des projets

Exprience en qualit de professeur principal, coordination et/ou charg de l'orientation des lves est apprcie

Matrise des outils numriques et/ou exprience de rfrent numrique

Capacit s'adapter des lves non francophones

Capacit assurer un enseignement adapt des lves trs divers

Capacit travailler de manire transversale et pluridisciplinaire

Matrise de l'anglais (niveau B1 et plus) apprcie pour faciliter les changes avec les familles.
