Role

As a Technology Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating technology-related risks across digital projects, systems, and 3rd party engagements. You will interpret architecture diagrams, data flows, and access controls to identify vulnerabilities and recommend actionable solutions. The role involves reviewing SOC reports, managing penetration testing engagements, and translating findings into clear guidance for internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls are embedded in solution designs and aligned with regulatory standards. A strong understanding of Security by Design principles and cloud environments-particularly Azure-is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in technology risk, cybersecurity, or related fields
• Strong grasp of risk frameworks and security standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
• Ability to interpret SOC reports and communicate technical findings effectively
• Experience liaising with external penetration testing vendors and internal teams
• Proficiency in cloud security, especially within Azure environments
