Your new role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Collections SME (L3/L4) with deep expertise in collections products (cards or loans) and thorough understanding of the end-to-end collections lifecycle. The role involves supporting functional design, driving strategic decision-making, and providing subject matter expertise across collections initiatives.

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all collections-related functional requirements.
• Support design and configuration of collections strategies and product features.
• Lead analysis and interpretation of collections performance data to identify improvement areas
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate business requirements into system functionalities.
• Provide guidance during UAT, training, and implementation phases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management policies

What you need

• At least 8 years of collections with hands-on exposure to cards and/or loans.
• Experience as a Collections SME supporting end-to-end lifecycle and system implementations.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including technology, risk, and business stakeholders
• Familiar with functional design, UAT, and change management in collections-related projects.
• Understanding of credit risk, delinquencies, and mitigation practices.
• Proficiency in collections platforms and tools used in credit risk management with data analysis software such as SQL, Excel, or BI tools.
