Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee day-to-day technology operations for the Singapore office. This role is suited for a high-potential individual (approximately 8+ years of experience) who is comfortable handling both technical support and infrastructure responsibilities, and who can grow into a more strategic IT leadership role over time.
The successful candidate will initially manage end-user support, systems setup, and vendor coordination, while progressively taking ownership of IT governance, policies, and infrastructure as the organization continues to mature.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Hands-On Support
- Provide day-to-day IT support for office users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage IT onboarding/offboarding, device setup, access provisioning, and system maintenance.
- Coordinate with external vendors and global IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure service continuity.
Infrastructure & Systems Ownership
- Support and maintain office IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, security tools, and enterprise systems.
- Assist in implementing and improving system reliability, performance, and security.
- Oversee vendor relationships for IT services, equipment, and support.
Governance & Growth Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Support cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management requirements in line with financial services standards.
- Gradually take on broader ownership of IT planning, infrastructure decisions, and governance as the role evolves.
Requirements
- Around 8+ years of IT experience, ideally within financial services or a corporate environment.
- Comfortable being hands-on across support, systems, and infrastructure.
- Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, end-user computing, cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft 365), and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Experience working with vendors and regional/global IT teams is an advantage.
- Demonstrated potential to grow into a more strategic IT role over time.
- Strong communication skills, professional presence, and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
