Technology Information Security Officer (TISO)

Description

We are seeking a Technology Information Security Officer (TISO) to oversee and enhance our organization's information security framework. The TISO will ensure the security of information systems, develop security policies, and lead incident response efforts. This role is critical in safeguarding our technology assets and ensuring compliance with security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's information security strategy and policies.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into systems and applications.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees on information security protocols and practices.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and others.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-15 years of experience in information security or related fields.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security architecture.
• Proficient with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
