Technologist (Technical & Quality)

App / Tech Functions:

1 Manage technical applications scope and developing formulations & emulsions and scaling to production, for use in either food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical, personal care/cosmetics & technical industries.

2 Build relevant formulation & application market knowledge on the use of emulsifiers hands-on sourcing & procuring of raw materials and build up applications intelligence with various ingredients and additives and manage equipment and maintenance.

3 Hands on in labs, formulation, application and support QA-QC process during the periodic production shifts & schedules for understanding the main products produced. Other responsibilities that can include internship management, audits and other ad-hoc activities that supplements a more all round technical ability to grow.

4 Presentation skills and creating presentation materials, exhibitions and samples preparations, maintaining sample inventory for various applications, hands-on and maybe involved in training and possibly able to travel.

5 Strong technical acumen for details, and do technical marketing & services, and a passion for regulatory for the said industries.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

1 Preferred minimum a diploma and/or degree in Chemistry background and some emulsifiers, formulations and emulsions experience will be a big plus if from a relevant Science background.

2 Highly familiar with food ingredients/additives and formulations of ingredients, additives, premixes and emulsions, can also apply with great aptitude to learn and develop.

3 Strong in IT skills like Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and having used Navision is a plus. Having web design /maintenance skills will be a big plus, however, not essential for the role.

4 Require interactions with internal and external facing and at least bilingual in spoken and written in English and Mandarin and/or another language and a strong drive and self-motivation and ability to learn in a fast pace working environment.
