Job Description

Overview
This role requires managing projects related to operations - including planning, deployment, installation, and relocation - to ensure smooth and efficient execution. The role involves supervising technical work, training new team members, and serving as the main point of contact for clients. You will also support urgent or high-priority projects requiring technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Work and Deployments

  • Conduct site visits before installations.
  • Supervise installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and related equipment.
  • Ensure all deployments meet project timelines and quality standards.

2. Equipment Installation and Configuration

  • Install and set up cameras, NVRs, LAN cables, and other components.
  • Test systems to confirm proper functionality and connections.
  • Troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime.

3. Maintenance and Inspections

  • Perform routine maintenance and system checks.
  • Identify and fix hardware, software, or network problems.
  • Keep clear records of system performance and maintenance work.

4. Technical Coordination

  • Act as the main technical contact for clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee system deployments.
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders regularly.

5. Team Training and Support

  • Train new team members and ensure readiness within two weeks.
  • Provide mentorship, feedback, and ongoing support.

6. Equipment and Inventory Management

  • Prepare equipment for scheduled and ad-hoc deployments.
  • Track and maintain inventory levels accurately.

7. Managerial Coverage

  • Step in for the manager when required.
  • Support decisions on timelines, resource allocation, and coordination.

8. Additional Duties

  • Assist in urgent technical projects and other tasks as needed.
  • Follow company policies and standards in all work.

9. Professional Conduct

  • Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions.
  • Uphold the company's conduct and ethical standards.

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management or technical support, ideally in CCTV or security systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, setup, and maintenance.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, networking, and communication skills.
