Job Responsibilities
Building Maintenance & General Handyman Work
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure buildings are maintained in good condition.
- Perform minor repairs on mechanical & electrical (M&E) services and installations, including general handyman work such as fitting, installation, electrical wiring, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
- Supervise conservancy and building maintenance, ensuring that all works carried out by term contractors are completed properly and on time.
- Attend to and investigate tenant complaints regarding maintenance and service works, ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Assist the Management Team as a member of the CERT team during emergencies.
Electrical Systems & Equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Carry out wiring and cabling works, including installing and replacing electrical panels and circuit breakers.
- Install and maintain lighting systems, electrical control systems, and automation equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all electrical works.
Mechanical Systems & Equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Assemble, install, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Technical Knowledge Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical AC and DC systems, including voltage and current measurement.
Requirements
- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building, Facilities Management, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facility or building maintenance.
- Willingness and ability to perform ad-hoc shift duties, including weekends and public holidays.
