Core Responsibilities
- Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and servicing of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) to prevent sudden breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve on-site issues like busted pipes, malfunctioning lighting, faulty wiring, and temperature control irregularities.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the property adheres to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards, which includes addressing potential hazards and monitoring fire/security systems.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships and oversee external contractors for specialized tasks like major elevator repairs, pest control, or deep cleaning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs, track spare parts inventory, and document all completed work or incident reports.
Key Skills & Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Ability to quickly analyze faults and determine cost-effective, safe corrective actions.
- Relevant diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Must be capable of prolonged standing, lifting heavy equipment, and occasionally working in uncomfortable environmental conditions.
