Job Description (JD)
- Perform assembly, repair, and testing of electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic equipment
- Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists for accurate assembly
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair for assemblies, subassemblies, and components
- Inspect and audit incoming parts to ensure completeness and quality
- Use test fixtures, measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps for testing
- Complete job documentation including data entry, progress tracking, and labor details
- Perform basic programming, repair, or software installation when required
- Work independently and support junior team members as an informal mentor
Things to Take Note
- Employment type: Contract (up to 24 months)
- Minimum qualification: NITEC / Diploma
- Requires 2-4 years of semiconductor / display industry experience or similar
- Candidates with ASSEET / BSEET or equivalent certifications preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required
- Role involves hands-on technical work in cleanroom environment
- Physically demanding role (standing long hours, lifting, working in tight spaces, etc.)
- Must be comfortable using PPE and handling equipment/tools
