Get to Know the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Note: This is a generalized role that may not accurately reflect the title of the actual job and its responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
1. Process Production Technician
- Execute manufacturing processes according to established procedures and guidelines
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products
- Prepare raw materials for production processes
- Conduct visual quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Update daily downtime records and monitor yield for process optimization
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and all job duties, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date
2. Analysis Production Technician
- Conduct data checks on the inspection plate from different process steps to ensure alignment with product specifications and customer requirements
- Update the judgment results for all process steps in the shipment file for different customers
- Review images generated by inspection tools and allocate plates to different customers according to specific requirements and demand
- Update and monitor quality performance indicators for each shipment. Provide feedback to relevant departments regarding quality issues
- Work closely with QA team on matters related to customer specification
- Work closely with production team and update judgment results in a timely manner ensure plate flow to downstream processes
3. Assembly Production Technician
- Perform day-to-day machines preventivemaintenance (1P, 2P, 3P, EP, & MRFs)
- Perform daily machine parameters check, record into check sheets, and update SPC trends
- Compile engineering defect check result, flatness, profile, and immediately notify engineers if abnormality or non-conformance products found
- Conduct thorough investigation, process tuning, and monitor the performance before releasing the machine to production
- Carefully handle, inspect, and package finished mask blanks using specialised cleanroom materials (e.g., protective cassettes, RSPs, or anti-static packaging) to prevent defects, contamination, or damage
- Strictly adhere to customer-specific packing and labelling specifications, including custom packaging configurations, protective materials, labelling formats, barcodes, and documentation requirements
- Record packaging data, complete production logs, and ensure all documentation aligns with quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards)
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and shipping teams to meet daily output goals while prioritizing accuracy and safety
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packing efficiency and reduce waste
OtherResponsibilities
- Assist with other ad hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor
- Handle, monitor and ensure inventory is at a healthy stock level
Skills and Competencies Profile
Required Qualifications
- NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, fresh graduates may apply
- 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or related roles, is preferred
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data tracking and reporting
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills for reporting and collaborating with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning machine technologies and procedures.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Additional Information
- Willing to work in 12-hour rotating shift (4working day/3 rest day/3 working day/4 rest day)
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
