Technician (Process Engineering) #HYT

Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Tai Seng (next to MRT station)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Salary: Up to $2,800 (basic)
Additional Allowances/Benefits:

• Fixed Living Allowance: $300/month

• Attendance Incentive: $65/month (subject to no unpaid leave)

• AWS + Variable Bonus

Overview

The Technician (Process Engineering) supports manufacturing operations by performing equipment setup, troubleshooting, process validation, and maintenance activities. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing environments and basic electrical/electronic knowledge. Medical device experience is an advantage but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment & Testing Support

• Set up, troubleshoot, and validate test machines

• Diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues

• Assist in preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment, ensuring all actions are documented

Process & Product Support

• Support software verification and validation tasks

• Troubleshoot internal and external product failures and work with engineers on corrective/preventive actions

• Participate in process streamlining and documentation updates

• Support gas phase coating processes

• Conduct training on test methodologies or procedures

Data & Reporting

• Prepare weekly performance reports

• Collect and analyse data for trial runs, process improvements, or product enhancement

Operational Support

• Handle purchasing tasks, adjustments, and shipments for global support

• Maintain inventory, laboratory environment, 5S, and EHS standards

• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required

• Medical manufacturing background is advantageous but not mandatory
