Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard maintenance, repair & overhaul work on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) - diesel & electrical forklift
• Ensure high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs & inspection to meet department standards.
• Provide good customer service to achieve customer satisfaction.
• To perform accurate troubleshooting on MHE and notify Team Controllers/ Customers on required work & replacement parts recommendations.
• Complete and fill up work reports for each equipment and unit serviced.
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to Safety, Orderliness etc.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Superiors

Requirements

• Class 3 Driving License & must have electrical working knowledge
• At least 1 Year relevant working experience (electrical / diesel forklift / automotive)
• Good communication skills
• NITEC Automotive / Electrical / Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Must be able to support standby shifts 2 weeks every quarter including weekends and public holidays (including midnight)
