Technician III, Chemical Production Operations

As a Technician lll under our Chemical Production Department, you will be responsible for all the routine and non-routine processes of chemical formulations (lens materials, PAA supply tank, Phosphate Buffer Solution and Saline) Operations in our Tuas Plant.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Performs routine and non-routine processes in chemical production operations
• Helps manage and maintain chemical production calibration, documentation, inventory (i.e. cycle count), maintenance and compliance
• Assumes full responsibility in maintaining training on the required technical, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Participates and/or initiate projects that improve process efficiency and/or reduce operating cost
• Knows, understands and complies with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines. Reports any unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses and hazardous material releases
• Knowledgeable in safe handling of chemicals/waste disposal
• Supports implementation of Data Integrity (DI) Program for the site

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Min 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors
• Comfortable to be lifting heavy weights
• Forklift Licence is an advantage
