Key Responsibilities:
- Proper techniques of optical handling
- Able to cement parts for slicing & de-cement after slicing
- Dress cutter
- Able to slice raw material optimally and Maintain part dimensions
- Program Selection
- Maintenance & changing coolant system and Coolant preparation
- To conduct Incoming & outgoing inspection
- Able to perform even lacquer spray for finished optics per control plan
- Knowledge of setting up layout & orientation (optics) for sharp edges prisms (chip control process)
- To perform preventive maintenance of Slicing machine including filtration system
- Able to slice finished optics optimally
- Knowledge of diamond cutters, material types to achieve effective slicing including of selection of diamond wheel
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Technical education certificate or diploma in an engineering discipline with basic written and oral English proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 10kg.
- Close-range vision for detailed work.
- Steady hands.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Work in a factory environment with contact/exposure to alcohol/thinners.
- Open to cross-training opportunities
