About the Role
Our client, a prominent luxury hotel in Singapore, is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair hotel systems, equipment, and controls
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems
- Monitor operating logs and utilities data take corrective action where required
- Respond to and resolve guest and department maintenance complaints
- Perform daily startup, shutdown, and inspection of building services
- Supervise contractors and verify quality of work
- Maintain tools, equipment, and Engineering housekeeping standards
- Respond to emergencies and maintain accurate maintenance records
Requirements
- NTC 2 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years related experience in facilities or building services engineering
- PUB Electrician Licence or equivalent authority-approved licence (for Electrical Technicians)
- Good physical fitness ability to lift and carry up to 20kg, work on ladders and ramps
- Strong interpersonal skills and multicultural awareness
- Conversational and written English
