Technician (Electronics + IT)

The scope of work includes but not limited to the following activities:

• Carry out site survey and prepare site survey report
• Carry out testing, commissioning & troubleshooting of the field end equipment, Including cameras, monitors, and fiber optics equipment.
• Carry out camera coverage tests, update camera coverage design drawing.
• Generate coverage report. Update CBN/VSS/CLOCK/RADIO/PUBLIC ADDRESS/TELEPHONY/VOICE RECORDING/POWER System As-built drawing for submission.
• Provide transport and assist in transporting the VSS equipment to site.
• Carry out preparation and assembly work prior to the installation.
• Any other works to be assigned related to the CBN/VSS/CLOCK/RADIO/PUBLIC ADDRESS/TELEPHONY/VOICE RECORDING/POWER system.
• Able to work shift if required.

1. Scope of work for Telephony & Voice Recording System: -

1.1 Able to terminate MDF and troubleshoot Telephony & Voice Recording system

1.2 Basic configuration of Telephony System & Voice Recording (OJT will be given)

1.3 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

1.4 Testing and Commissioning of Telephony & Voice Recording system (based on test procedure)

2. Scope of Work for CBN: -

2.1 Able to troubleshoot Ethernet system (CCNA or above preferred)

2.2 Basic configuration of Ethernet Switches (OJT will be given)

2.3 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

2.4 Testing and Commissioning of Ethernet switches (base on test procedure)

2.5 Able to troubleshoot Fiber Optics system (OJT will be given)

2.6 Testing and Commissioning of CBN system (based on test procedure)

3. Scope of Work for IT Security: -

3.1 Able to do Operational System (Windows/Unix/Linux) Hardening

3.2 Basic configuration of Firewall (OJT will be given)

3.3 Have experience in configuring Syslog and able to deploy such solutions

3.4 Have experience in deploying EPO/Antivirus solutions and able to deploy such solutions

3.5 Ethernet knowledge is added advantage (CCNA and above)

4. Scope of Work for Radio System: -

4.1 Able to perform basic network configuration and wiring termination of Radio System (OJT will be given)

4.2 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

4.3 Able to terminate MDF and perform basic troubleshooting for Radio system

4.4 Supervision of radio installation works

4.5 Conduct Testing and Commissioning of Radio system (base on test procedure)

4.6 Work on documentation submission

5. Scope of Work for VSS System (coverage): -

5.1 Configuring and troubleshooting VSS back-end equipment

5.2 Carry out testing & commissioning for the back-end equipment, including Video

Surveillance Servers, Video Storage Units Encoders and Decoders and associated equipment.

5.3 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

5.4 Any other works to be assigned related to the VSS system.

6. Scope of Work for VSS Coverage Designer: -

6.1 Able to do CCTV Coverage CAD drawing.

6.2 Update Camera list and Event List using Excel.

6.3 Generate FOV Report.

6.4 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Coverage Drawing/Termination List).

6.5 Any other works to be assigned related to the VSS system.

7. Scope of work for Power System: -

7.1 Able to terminate MDF and troubleshoot Power system

7.2 Basic check for leakage current and voltage measurement (OJT will be given)

7.3 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

7.4 Testing and Commissioning of Telephony system (base on test procedure

8. Scope of work for CLOCK System: -

8.1 Able to terminate MDF, Configure and Troubleshoot Clock system

8.2 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

8.3 Testing and Commissioning of Clock system (base on test procedure)

8.4 Any other works to be assigned related to the Clock system.

9. Scope of work for PUBLIC ADDRESS System: -

9.1 Able to terminate MDF, Configure and Troubleshoot Public Address system (including field-end speaker lines)

9.2 Update drawings (SLD/cable route/Termination List)

9.3 Testing and Commissioning of Public Address system (base on test procedure)

9.4 Any other works to be assigned related to the Public Address system.
