Technician (Chemical)

Job Scope:

• Perform daily plant operations and assist in troubleshooting activities

• Conduct field logging, routine sampling, and plant testing

• Prepare process equipment for maintenance in accordance with SOP procedures

• Handle loading/unloading and raw material charging tasks

• Operate utility systems and process plant equipment

Requirements:

• Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related field

• 2-3 years of experience in the chemical industry preferred

• Candidates without experience must possess at least a Diploma in Chemical-related studies

• 2nd Grade Steam Engineer certification or Boiler Attendance Certificate will be an added advantage

• Experience in forklift operation, firefighting, confined space, or work-at-heights certification is advantageous

• Able to perform both field and panel operations

• Strong awareness of workplace safety and housekeeping practices

Additional Information:

• Work experience: Minimum 2 years in the chemical industry

• Pick-up points: Jurong East MRT Station and Outram Park MRT Station
