Job Summary
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to deliver customer service. The goal is to drive service success, improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits or dispatches to resolve technical issues and maintain system functionality
- Coordinate daily workflow according to scheduled appointments to ensure timely service delivery
- Manage installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks on security and related equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Diagnose technical errors or problems and apply appropriate solutions to restore system performance
- Produce detailed and timely service reports documenting work performed and outcomes achieved
- Document service processes to maintain accurate records and support knowledge sharing
- Follow company field procedures and protocols to ensure compliance and safety during service activities
- Collaborate with sales and project teams by sharing relevant information to support customer requirements and project success
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations or briefings to enhance service quality
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster trust and satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or Manager to support team objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with ProWatch, Genetec, or Hikvision central security systems to enhance troubleshooting and integration capabilities
- Skills in software integration and customisation related to security systems to support advanced technical solutions
- Ability to multitask across various projects to manage workload efficiently
- Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changing work schedules to meet operational demands
- Proficient in computer skills to operate diagnostic tools and service software
- English literacy to communicate effectively in documentation and customer interactions
