Technician (6-month contract)

Job Description:

• Perform all activities related to repair, maintenance and installation of electrical circuits and components and/or mechanical equipment
• Carry out troubleshooting to maintain equipment at operating levels
• Working knowledge of boiler system will be advantageous
• Carry out routine maintenance work on a timely basis
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Supervise maintenance work carried out by contractors
• Participate in test runs and commissioning
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in food/ beverage manufacturing or related environment
• Possession of Class 3 driving licence will be advantageous
• Able to speak mandarin to communicate with mandarin-speaking only employees
• Good problem solving skills
