We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in creating clear and comprehensive technical documentation for software products.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain user manuals, technical documentation (API references, developer guides, architecture overviews, and release notes), and guides for software products.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product features and functionality.
- Edit and proofread documentation for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain documentation templates and standards for the team.
- Translate technical specifications into clear, user-facing documentation, including onboarding guides, how-tos, FAQs, and user guides.
- Work with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in technical writing or related field.
- Familar with Confluence, GitBook, MkDocs, and client-specific platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Review and edit engineer-contributed documentation for consistency, clarity, and accuracy.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot to support documentation development and maintenance.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.
