- To write and maintain documents designed to explain the technical product information for both internal and external audiences
- To write and maintain the documentation (manuals, reference guides, service notifications and user's guides) by reading the specification documents prepared by the engineering and by presenting these specifications in a customer-readable and usable form
- To write and maintain the Software documentation (software release notes, context help within the machine software) by reading the requirement documents prepared by the RnD and by presenting these requirements in a customer-readable and usable form
- Research and consult with development teams to ensure accuracy of documentation
- Assists in control of electronic files, backups, document templates and archiving of media
- Contribute to the improvement of technical writing processes, existing product documentation and its deployment
- Executes special project or tasks assigned by manager
Education
Diploma / Degree in mechanical-related engineering field
Work Experience
- 2 5 years
- Prior experience PLM applications (product lifecycle management), such as PLM Agile (Oracle product)
- Working knowledge in complex machine BOM (Bill of Material) structure, engineering change process and workflow (spare parts manual)
- Familiarity with engineering data, such as drawings generated by CAD tools (e.g. ProE, Solid Edge)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools, excellent writing and good presentation skills
- Proficiency in technical writing and web creation tools: Adobe Framemaker, Dreamweaver,Photoshop
- Working knowledge of tools to create Spare Parts
- Machine operation
