Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Technical Teaching Fellow to support the effective delivery of our RISE upskilling programs, particularly for the Business & Data Analytics track. The ideal candidates will assist learners throughout their learning journey, ensuring they gain the necessary technical skills and digital literacy to excel in our programs.
Key Responsibilities (Scope of work):
i. Before Training Sessions:
· Familiarize yourself with all training platforms used by learners, such as Zoom, LMS and Trello.
· Organize and deliver foundational digital skills workshops and additional technical support sessions.
· Reference master training schedule and remind lead trainers of upcoming training sessions at least three days before scheduled training.
· Coordinate with lead trainers to anticipate and address potential learner challenges.
· Set up tools, software, and systems required for session delivery where necessary.
· Provide timely reminders to learners regarding important milestones (e.g., assessments, in-person sessions).
ii. During Training Sessions:
· Assist in hosting online training sessions via Zoom, manage breakout rooms, and facilitate interactive learning activities (polls, games, simulations) using various tools.
· Monitor and promptly address learner queries and technical issues via Zoom chat.
· Provide real-time technical support, such as troubleshooting software installation, configuration issues, or addressing basic digital literacy challenges.
· Maintain a questions parking lot to consolidate all questions by learners and address basic questions where possible. Advanced questions should be routed to lead trainers to be addressed during or after training sessions.
· Clarify and reinforce content delivered by main trainers, simplifying technical concepts as needed.
· Ensure learners effectively use training platforms and guide them in navigating resources.
· Record and escalate frequent learner issues for continuous curriculum improvement.
· Facilitate and support breakout room activities, ensuring active learner participation.
· Conduct scheduled post-session, post-module and career surveys, analyzing feedback for program improvement.
iii. After Training Sessions:
· Conduct optional clinic sessions where necessary to reinforce learner understanding and address ongoing queries.
· Develop and distribute step-by-step guides and supplementary materials addressing technical challenges.
· Update and maintain FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and documentation for learner reference.
· Track attendance, monitor learner progress, identify at-risk individuals, and recommend interventions.
· Actively share any additional materials used by lead trainers during training delivery.
· Maintain and update Trello boards with Zoom recordings and additional announcements and learning materials.
· Support learners questions via chat, email, and other platforms. Address trainee questions and escalate complex content queries to trainers as needed.
· Regularly update trainers on trainee progress, session pacing, and content effectiveness, contributing to continuous program improvement.
· Attend weekly meetings with Track team and Learner Excellence team to provide timely update on in-class activities and at-risk learners.
iv. During Technical Assessments:
· Administer assessments, ensuring familiarity with formats, content, and submission procedures.
· Guide learners in submitting assessments via LMS.
· Address learner queries related to assessment content and instructions.
v. After Technical Assessments:
· Consolidate all assessment submissions for marking by designated assessors.
· Communicate assessment results to learners, coordinating retests or makeup sessions as needed.
· Proactively engage learners absent from assessments or those needing additional support.

Additional Information:
· This role may require flexible working hours to support learners based in Singapore effectively.
· Expected working hours (Singapore time):
o Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00PM
o Weekday evenings: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
o Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
o Additional hours will be required outside of session hours (up to 50% of session hours)
· All training sessions will be conducted virtually using Zoom, unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g. Final Capstone Presentation and Graduation).
· The position will involve collaboration with multiple stakeholders including trainers, program administrators, and learners.
