Technical Support Technician

Job Description

• Support on daily failure analysis on production rejects

• Setup, operate production machines and equipment according to instructions and processes

• Hands-on troubleshooting of production machine on mechanical and electrical problems

• Conduct first level troubleshooting of equipment performance and functionality issues

• Update machine downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting

• Carry out preventive maintenance, calibration and test procedure on machines & fixtures.

• Update equipment downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting

• Supervise process supervision and conduct verification test and measurements

• Support on ESD measurements

• Support on spare part management

• Conduct periodic measurements of product cycle time

• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.

• Actively initiate/participate in workplace safety, 5S and environmentally friendly activities and continuous improvement process.

• Support productivity improvement through periodic reviewing performance of product cycle time, machine and production yield performance.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent. Diploma/Bachelor preferred.

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experiences in electronic devices production assembling environment

• High degree of technical competence and creativity and high level of discipline and integrity

• Good team player and able to work with people from different cultures

• Able to perform shift works and overtime (if necessary)
