Pre-Sales Engineer that will be responsible for working closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, design system solutions, and present value-driven security technologies to prospects and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales executives to identify customer needs and propose tailored physical security solutions.
- Develop system architecture and design documentation for CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.
- Assist in the preparation of technical responses to bids, proposals, and tenders.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to stakeholders, often including C-level executives and security directors.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing security infrastructure and gather requirements for new deployments.
- Collaborate with OEMs and technology partners to stay current on emerging physical security products and technologies.
- Work closely with project managers, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate implementation of proposed solutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 37 years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architect role within the physical security or security systems integration industry.
- Experience with CAD or security design software is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
