Responsibilities
In charge of technical purchase for machinery parts and consumables purchase for Maintenance / Production / Warehouse & Logistics / QA departments.
Source, evaluate and identify reliable suppliers based on factors such as price, lead time, quality, suitability, necessity and logistical expenses.
Negotiate purchases and supply contracts to achieve best result for the Company.
Coordinate with shipping agencies and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
Maintain EAM / CMMS software for effective spare parts inventory management to reduce downtime and improves productivity. Ensure spare parts inventory record are accurately kept.
Monitor expenses and ensure no wastage on consumables.
Establish and maintain good relationships with vendors and service providers.
Liaise with machinery suppliers for machine related issues.
Provide administrative support to Maintenance / Production / Warehouse & Logistics / QA Dept.
Perform ad-hoc and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2 years (or Diploma with 3 years) in technical purchase and machinery maintenance related experience
Good leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Resilient, pro-active, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
