Technical Support Chemist - Segregation

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily waste receiving, unloading, segregation and distribution operations.

• Verify incoming waste, resolve discrepancies and coordinate treatment and storage arrangements.

• Review and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce treatment costs.

• Develop treatment methods and handling procedures for new or unidentified waste.

• Conduct regular plant inspections and ensure compliance with 5S, TPM and safety standards.

• Supervise and train staff on safe waste handling, PPE requirements and risk assessments.

• Provide technical support during emergency response situations.

• Coordinate with EHS and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Chemistry or Engineering related field
