Technical Superintendent (Tankers, Singapore)

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Technical Superintendent to join our client's technical team. This role is based in Singapore, and we are looking for someone with Crude Tanker experience.

Our clients will also provide relocation package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned tanker vessels
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.
• Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.
• Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
• Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.
• Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.
• Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

• Sailed to the rank of Chief Engineer and holding a CoC Class 1
• Been ashore for at least 2 years and must have experience overseeing crude tanker vessels
• Proficient in MS Office and vessel management software
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for vessel inspections, audits, and dry-dock supervision.
