Role Overview
Responsible for reviewing and interpreting customer and project specifications for pressure relief valves and special manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, technical requirements, and project expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Review customer specifications, identify technical gaps, risks, and compliance requirements.
Reconcile project requirements with quotations, contracts, and technical agreements.
Develop and review manufacturing procedures for welding, coating, heat treatment, material testing, and non-destructive examination (NDE).
Coordinate technical clarifications with customers, suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and customer specifications.
Support project execution, documentation approval, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal Requirements
Experience in special processes within oil and gas, energy, industrial manufacturing, or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC Sections II, V, VIII, and IX.
Familiarity with NORSOK M-501 and relevant industry specifications.
Experience in welding, coating, heat treatment, casting, material testing, or NDE.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and develop manufacturing procedures.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience in valve manufacturing, pressure equipment, or engineered-to-order projects is an advantage.
